Thanks guys. Currently it has dual P2 400's. Which I will probably eBay everything except the case and PSU. And put a AXP in it to use as a Linux (most likely FreeBSD or Debian based) server and folder.

Good idea, those Athlon XP's are top notch 32bit processors.

These guys do badges and keyfobs etc. So you can make your own Linux branded merchandise and PC badges, even have the penguin on your gold balls!

Yeah very good. Top quality parts, and very friendly guys. I made an error on an order one day, and I rang them, they fixed it straight up and put it in the mail for me straight away.

Yeah there products seem a bit dodgy.I bought a router from them a while back and in a month, dead. So i bought a wireless router cuz my computer is miles away, a month or so passes starts playin' up, so i just do what i can with it and fix it with a new firmware. Anyway i just think they're a bit dodgy. I heard rumours that they have sold overclocked CPU's.

Overclocking is done by either increasing HTT/FSB or the multiplyer. I was under the impression both settings were stored in BIOS. Which is motherboard.

In the days of the ceramic-base AthlonXP it used to be possible to do a "hard" overclock with a little bit of silver paint and a steady hand. Results varied. I somewhat doubt that eBuyer would go to the sort of lengths required to employ technically-capable staff, though. They're a box-shifter, the Amazon of computing.

Less can go wrong with books, though.
