how do i wire the mic to the front of my case

Hi all
i am trying to wire up my mic to the front panel on the front of my new case . in the motherboard manual it shows four pins to put the wires on to

Mic in
NC
GND
+5V
now the wires from my case only have three wires and there
MIC DATA
MIC VCC
GND
ok i know where the GND would go but I'm lost on the other ones .can anyone tell me what goes were as I'm a little lost ???

mic data=mic in
NC = NO CHARGE
gnd= GROUND
=5v = Mic vcc(sense, i think)
