The thing that concerns me is if I have RAM sticks with RAM chips on both sides, and I've got two RAM sticks. Will they fit back to back? It's true that most RAM doesn't need much cooling at all, which is why heat spreaders don't have any fins on them.

id say your right Aedan about the double sided Ram sets as i have three sticks of Ram and theres a 8mm gap between each stick and i wouldnt think that all the parts would fit, and look at the price of them there pretty dear, if had the room between them it would cost me 149- , i wouldnt spend it on cooling RAM

i think it woule be better to stick a tall copper sheet on each side of the stick, and cool the top part of the sheet.
