MBM replacement?

I love MBM, but since it is no longer being updated, I want to look for alternatives... I currently only have one system that is not supported, but obviously that will increase with time.

- the monitoring of temps, voltages and fan speeds.
- the tray temp readings
- the dashboard
- flexible timings of readings
- log file of readings.

Is there anything else out there that can take the place of MBM?

Speedfan is the next best thing but I don't care much for it.

Which system is not supported SteveI? I have found ways to get several unsupported systems to work.

A lot of motherboards now come with their own monitoring software. I have found Abits uGuru software fantastic, it allows you to overclock simply through Windows and not through the BIOS (so if you want to play BF2 and need some extra juice, you simply hit the Turbo button).
And of course, it has great temperature monitoring software as well.
I think some of the newer boards from other companies are doing this as well.

I've tried the mobo supplied sw, and they are all buggy, and take up way too much desk to space. I like the little dashboard that sits nicely in the corner, or in the tray.

I'll take a look at speedfan.
The only mobo this is a problem for is my ATi chipset board. I think it's called RS400 or RS480.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Send a message via MSN to Samuknow

I use everest home lately. It is nice for a quick check.
