An extreme crash!!!

I'll tell you a story..

I had a 9NDA3+ (rev 1.0) and a Winchester 3000+... they worked pretty well for about 3 months... Then, 2 in 5 times, the system would not boot, hanging on code 25 (epox). After 2 or 3 days it was booting propely again, but every card on the PCI slots "could not find enough resources", the onboard LAN and IEE1394 had this problem also. Then I killed my CPU "removing the IHS", i almost removed the die . Ordered a new X2 3800+. Arrived today. Had a hard time to update to the latest bios. System totally unstable. 9 out of 10 times it hangs on code 25 while booting. Can't run windows, "machine_check_exception" BSOD after a few minutes, running or re-installing. Linux crashes too.

swapped, RAM, PSU, VGA.... everything working fine. Temps are ok and voltages good.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Welcome to AOA's Forums, gvmichel!

Is it possible that the 9NDA3+ has a leaky or bulging electrolytic capacitor among the big cans grouped together near the processor's socket that are usually blue?
