Norton Anti-virus 2004 Beta out for free

I've been using it for a while and it's great. If you want an Anti-virus software and can't afford it, this is free and has updates for a year. Answer a few simple non intrusive questions (like 6, ok?) and you get to download and install it. Check it out here
One thing to remember if you do install it is the code is a string of 4 characters each. It comes jumbled up as one long string so you will have to cut and paste 4 at a time. Great for those who want good software but can't afford it.

You may be right, but when you register it, the registration shows a valid license for 1 year. I didn't look closely, evidently, but perhaps it's available only for 30 days?

Ah. I didn't see that either. Well if it proves itself(I'm sure it will, it's Nortons)for 30 days I may have to buy it.

I installed it anyway as something messed up after I updated my subscription. Symantec's advice was uninstall and reinstall 2002. Does definitely show a year's free updates when you go through the installation.
