Did the Midwest kill the Internet today?

Written by Daniel

If the Internet wasn't working quite right for you today—maybe you couldn't reach Amazon or Ars, or maybe your iPhone couldn't load data—then you can probably blame the Midwest.?

iPhone-using Ars staffers in the Chicago area (and there are quite a few) reported problems with AT&T's voice and data service. The problems were intermittent and affect different users differently, and as of this writing they still persist. AT&T has released a statement to local Chicago news outlets attributing the problems to a power failure.
