The XP internal Diode/8KHA+

Small question for those more in the know.

The new XP chips have an internal diode don't they. Is the hardware present on 8KHA+?

I mean will perhaps a bios update be able to read this or some other software, or is the required reading devices not there?

Unfortunatley not I am afraid. It is a shame because we all know the scant wide range in which the present diodes can measure within.

That is a shame, I was only being very hopeful in asking this though, it would have been a real surprise as the Epox board was pretty much releases the same time as the XP cpu. No major loss I guess!

its not surprising to me really! i emailed SOYO a while back asking about their KT266A board..... they explained they didnt have a diode reading thingy, as AMD had left it too late to tell them.
