no bootup after oc on my 8rda+

Hi i was wondering if someone could help me, I have had my 8rda+ for a couple of weeks now with np at all with it, but so far its only been running at stock speeds with me. Last week my 1800 tb arrived and i had it running at 166x10 default vcore and 2.77 vmem memory timeings of ( 2/2/2/5 100%) again no prob at all i then uped my fsb to 180 and still no probs at all then up it to 185 and it started failing in windows so i up the vcore to 1.7 and that sorted that out anyway i dropped back down to 166fsb and have been running at those speed that last few days, last night though i decided to go to 190x9 as i feel the cpu has been run in now and all my other parts are feeling at home but when i did this my bios locked when i was saveing changes oh the mem timeing i had relaxed abit when i put my fsb up to 190 they were on 2/2/2/6 and again i had up the vcore to 1.7, now it no longer boots up I cleared the cmos with the jumper and their was no go. I took the battry out and left it out overnight still no go i have taken all my cards out [rocketraid 404 and assuscom isdn card which were in slot 3 and 4] I tested my 1800tb on a kt400 chipset mainboard works fine i also tested my memory on the kt400 and my graphic card all these work fine. I am not sure whats caused this as the only thing i got left to look at is my northbridge as i have no active cooling on this but i would of thought my case would have had this coverd as i have 3 80mm case fans or maybe even my bios but im not sure, here is a list of my parts :-

8rda+ bios c10
1800tb
xms3000 rev1.1 512mb
ati radeon 8500 64mb
enermax 550watt
slk800 with a thermaltake smartcase fan 2 80mm
coolermaster 201b
highpoint rocket404
asuscom isdn card

my sytem temp was 9c and my cpu temp was 30c at 166x10 thank you in advanced for any help i receive

your 100% sure that the CPU memory graphics card and PSU are good?

Can you please try your board with only CPU and PSU plugged in with the board outside of your case on the plastic anti static mat supplied in the motherboard box.

thanks for the reply i will try what u have all mentioned tonight when i get home from work as i have not done this yet out of the case. my psu memory and all other cards etc are over a year old and i know all these items are good the cpu is the newest thing i got but as i said i have tested it on a differnet mainboard today and it is still working and it did work fine on my epox mainboard till lastnight. Im pretty sure nothing is shorting out as i have had the mainboard in my case for over 4 weeks with no problems at all and been very happy with it but you could be right as a new cpu has been fitted so maybe somethin has gone a miss, and it will be better for me to carry on my fault finding outside the case also i was wondering if at the end of all this i find that the mainboard has really died hopefully not as i really like this mainboard, will i still be able to rma it for a new one or does epox fix it for me and i get charged for it just wondering.

If you do need to RMA then you will have to contact your vendor.

kS2....

The FF code designates that the CPU has successfully
done its job during the boot process.... Or it has failed
to do its job completley. The latter being a bad deal.

So then one would have to ask himsel why isn't the CPU
permitted to do its job when it works in another board?

Scrambled BIOS maybe?

Luck.

Pops.

popcicle looks like your right regarding the bios being scrambled still not sure how as it wasnt a major oc ? and i thought this would more likely happen after flashing the bois with a update but im very sure this is my problem with it, I am going to order a new bios off epox after christmas to check this theory out as holst said its christmas so no point me doing anything till after christmas, ill just have to live with the mainboard i got in my pc for a bit thanks for the replys Holst and Popcicle I will let u now the outcome p.s if i do find it is the bios is the prob could anyone explain how something like this can happen or is this just a one off thing thanks
