8RDA can't install NF2 drivers in win98 "HELP"-"HELP"!!!

Is there a trick? Im flawless on my asus nf2 in win98 and on the epox in win2k1-xp but as soon as win98 installs and I go to run the nf2 driver setup I get error helt message saying setup will terminate... Ive tried the drivers off the cd and nf2 2.0's of nv's site.. BTW all sound and onboard devices are disabled besides usb 1.1

The drivers off the CD may not autorun properly and you might have to find the .exe by exploring the CD.

qwerty57 , if your trying to load win98 AFTER winxp for dual-boot on any motherboard it should not work. They have to be installed in the release order according to Microsoft:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;217210
But here's a guy that figured how to do it .

Bad luck Qwerty57. You can not unpack the files in data1.cab and data2.cab unless you use WinXP. I have an 8RDA+ sitting in a cupboard in a back room. I done numorous installs of XP pro and the SP1 only to find my SBlive was badly effected, and my online game ability with a 56K modem stopped. Even using all the latest drivers and such, it was a heap of sh(t. So now under Win 98 on a 8K3a-XP2400-2x256_XMS3000-Ti4400 I sit patiently waiting for official support for Win98-the gamers choice of O/S. Oh...from what I can find around the net, there is no support for Win98...only Win98 SE. THAT SUX! I also tried SE to load d/l Nforce2 drivers. What a CROCK
