What memory timings to use for my corsair xms3200 cas 2 on my 8rda+?

I am looking for the best performance not necessary hitting 200 fsb (if not that gives the best performance)

I know I should run at cas 2 but the other memory timings I have no clue what they are and what to set them to.

Also I was trying to set the fsb to 180 at cas 2 but I don´t think my cpu liked that so at posting I got the C3 error code and continuos beeps.

Also what AGP Aperture size should I use? 64 or 128 mb? Should I enable fastwrites for my 9700 PRO?

Damn, trying to clear the cmos by using the cmos jumper didn´t seemed to fix it either.

What can cause this. My theory is:

1. Cpu don´t want to work at 180x10.5

2. My 9700 PRO don´t like fast writes or an aperture size of 128 mb.

Well that´s it. My RAM should be able to do at least 180 fsb?

It's rated at CAS 2-3-3-6

try that... Although some can get it at CAS 2-2-2-5 with more voltage...

Also check if your CPU Interface is at Aggressive or Optimal... If it's at Aggressive try Optimal... Also try giving it 2.77v on the RAM...

Also without telling what CPU you are using, there is no way to know if you are overclocking too far and it's the CPU and not the memory...

Also try flashing your BIOS to the latest 3129 version...

I tried the jumper again and that did it. It was definitely the cpu adding voltage to the cpu made my computer boot just fine.

Cas 2 -2-3-3-6? What are what hear? In the latest bios is it in the reversed order 6 3 3 2 cas 2?

also whats the difference between aggressive and optimal cpu interface?
