Corsair 3500 and 8RDA+ compatibility?

i have read the various ways on how to get my corsair to post on my new 8rda+. but to no avail, i have failed. is there another method of getting this board to accept this 3500 c2 module i have? i think i read something about a jumper n the board too. can anyone help me?:nervous:

It should work if you insert the memory settings manually.

once your in, if i get in, say if i had a bad crash and needed to clear the cmos, i would have to boot up with another stick all the time?:nervous:

Oh, it's not posting at all?

I don't know the exact issue people have had with Corsair, but from what I understand some sticks had the wrong SPD programmed, so the settings had to be entered manually..

I don't know if they had a problem with posting or not though.. maybe anyone with Corsair ram could help?

I have used 512 Mb XMS 3500C2 on my 8RDA+ without any problems.
Have you tried the stick(s) in another computer?
Had no issues when I used the Corsair...just found out TwinMos PC3200 are just as good or better so I sold it and got me a couple of TwinMos.

Question

I am running 2x256mb stick of XMS 3500 on my Epox 8rda+. It ran fine without the VDD Mod of the northbridge and now it is giving me truly amazing results at 2-2-2-5 at 208mhzFSB. Maybe you should return RMA the memory. I sell XMS memory and have never had a bad stick come throuh my shop.
