A calculator would suffice

Yes, but a chart would be much quicker, especially if you want to go up 1 or 2 mhz at a time. Surely, somone must have a chart...?

A calculator is all I use. I figure out what I want to try next, write it down on paper, go into Bios and do it. I also keep a log of any and all changes I make each time I go into Bios. No one ever told me overclocking was supposed to be easy or supplied me with charts or diagrams

It would be nice if the BIOS could show the expected speed. It would really make it easy.

You have a 2GHz processor available and still have to get a portable calculator to do a simple multiplication?

Why don't you work out all the possibilities and write them down in blue felt tip. Then sticky tak some cardboard around the outside (colour doesn't matter - you decide). Then you can tape some string to either side of the carboard and hang on the wall...

Voila, one chart.

Certainly is, because "we" created the processors. But we can't be as fast as them. And also there are some numbers that are a pain in the ... to calculate. Like 12,5 x 184. It's really boring to do this mentally.
