Question HELP EPoX TECH

Hi! I fried my epox 8KHA+ and I was wondering If I can return it to epox to fix it. I will pay the cost as long as it will not exceed the value of the board. My problem occured when I shorted the SW switch to power up. I accidentally moved my other screw driver and it touches the 2 pin which shorted my mobo. NOw it won't power up. I figure due to my clumsyness that I shorted the switches. Please tell me what I can do? I really don't want to spend for another mobo. Thanks a bunch.

Very few modern boards are actually repaired. Most likely you'll need to buy a new board. If it was actually a warranty issue they would almost surely just send you a new board and throw the old one away.

It would probably be easier to visit the Epox Website, and get in touch with their support people who would actually handle the replacement procedure.

They should be able to tell you if your board is under warranty or not. If it's under warranty, I'm sure Epox will have you RMA the board. If it's not under warranty, either because it expired or you voided the warranty by modifying your board, you're probably out of luck.
