Its a little probe that measures temps that Epox bundle with some of the motherboards. I've now noticed that its readouts work in the bios but not in the Epox UDSM program ![]() ![]()

For Athlon64-based boards, I would be extremely surprised if you have a thermistor, as the CPU has an internal temperature diode built in that will be more accurate anyway. This is also true for PIII- and PIV-based boards. Even some regular Athlon boards (like my AN7) don't have a thermistor, because they get the temp from the AthlonXP's built-in thermal diode. |

It's part of EPoX's Thunderprobe package. They supply a stick on thermistor with the board, so you can attach it to something you want to monitor the temperature of!
