Is it safe to run 24/7 w/ mem voltage @ 3.2V?

I've been running my system @166FSB @ 3.2Volt more than a month now and no problems yet! But what I read from most of the forums, most people said the memory will die in couple of weeks! However, some people do run their memory at this voltage!

In my case, my computer 99% stable with this setting, I just want to make sure and please share your experiences about running the memory @ higher voltage...!

You better have some pretty good memory cooling. With decent cooling it should run OK.

Mines been at that speed and voltage for quite a whyle (2 months at least) with no problems.

Ive got very good case airflow so the temperature is a steady 21*c.

The memory gets warm but not particually hot.

Im folding@home 24/7 and hopefully if one of my sticks dies then the other will survive and ill drope the speed down.

once I can get some cas2 200fsb memory ill be getting rid of my crucial anyway.
It would be a shame if it died, but not a tradgedy.

There was a guy on www.theoverclockingstore.co.uk forum who had some at 200fsb on his P4 rig. You should find it easily...I started the thread as "fastest DDr memory"

I very nearly got some but I wanted to see somebody running it on an athlon to be sure.

It might be worth waiting untill the standard for PC-2700 is sorted as allot of PC-2700 seems to overclock very badly. IT will run cas2.5 at 166fsb and no faster.

Once I can get something that will run 200fsb 2.2.2.1 timings ill upgrade. I dont think thats going to happen any time soon.
