I have an ANTEC 480W True Power
PSU and 8k3A+ volt readings are:
+ 12V = 11,92
+ 3,3V = 3,25
+ 5 v = 4,95
I think is good numbers which staying steady even with High Overclock (2016@192x11.5 @ 2.0V) proving my ANTEC
PSU QUALITY......
But i heard on the net that many of you when checked found faulty readings from EPOX board.....So i also took my FACOM digital multimeter model 711 to confirm those readings....
Here is the result......
+ 12 V = 12.32 (11,92 By EPOX)
+ 3,3 V = 3,35 (3,25 By EPOX)
+ 5 V = 5,12 (4,95 By EPOX)
It is true......there's a faulty reading (-5%) by EPOX circuit i think if we do the same tests at all the Boards on the Market we probably found the same faults.....
I aslo found that the
Vcore is not so steady as must be...
When using MBM5.1 Hi and Low measurements after a long Burn test i see
Vcore playing between 1.92 to 2,12 (2,0 V selected by BIOS) and the same time all other measurements regarding pure
PSU voltage staying totally steady (+12/+5/+3.3)....
As you know
Vcore regulated directly from Borad circuit and if those readings are true then probably this can explane the reason of hanging the
CPU radomly due to full load conditions.....
Thanks for your attention......Dimitris
