I'm using +.2 according to the manual (3-8 jumpered) so I guess that makes it 2.7 on the DDR. Any higher and the board doesn't post. Don't know what the deal is with that.

I'm pulling 1002/965 memory scores on my 8K7A+ with 512MB Crucial @166Mhz timed at 16-8-7-2-2-2.5-2 and 2.8V. 1.4TBird @ 1.66GHz 1.92V.

Those scores seem kinda low for 172Mhz...I don't get it. I'll get a capture of it when I get home (at work and just got memory in today).

Thing rocks though. Nothing beats an EPoX.

Your score is kind of different. Usually the top number is much lower than the bottom number. I think my scores might of been higher if I was using a faster chip with the Palomino core. I remember when I first got an MP plugged into the 8K7A my score was something like 965/1031.

That's odd, didn't know that.

Even before I got this memory in and was running generic PC2100 at default I was getting something in the vicinity of 865/685.

Seems like I always get freaky hardware.

That's odd - never seen that before. Wonder what's causing that. You'll notice the trend I mentioned in all of the comparison scores.

if you uncheck the "Disable MMX..." and two "Disable SSE2..." options under module options for the memory benchmark, then you get results as shown above. if i do it, my ALU score shoots up, and the FPU score drops.

Yeh, I've always noticed that but never really paid much mind to it.

What's more odd is that I decided to run that test on a couple other systems I have and both my VP6 and D6VAA give higher ALU scores than FPU.

I don't have those options for that module on my version. I'm using the 2001te with the latest update. It does have the ability to enable those options, but they are checked.
