8rda3+ 2.0v+
I can't get my 8RDA3+ mobo above 2.0vcore? Does anyone know if this is protection? Just get siren. Ok at 1.975.
Many thanks,

Well I still have this problem. Epox techs? If this is the limit why have higher vcore's available?

The higher VccCores are there for if you wish to phase change cool and thus modify the PWM - if you mod the PWM and take the board out of warranty the choices are there - obviously if you run 2.0v or greater you are out of warranty also - so it sort of goes hand in hand - protecting the masses from killing their mainboard whilst giving the l33t the oppurtinty to make a small modification to get the best from their NVentivs, Aseteks or cascades.

Many thanks for the reply.
I have a Mach II Phase Change otherwise I'm sure the processor would be running at +70 deg C so what can I do to get the extra voltage?

Sounds like you need to disable the overvoltage protection on the Vreg chip. You'll probably need to look up the datasheet, and remove a controlling resistor, or cut a pin, or somesuch.
