your character will be erased 3 months after you cancel, just in case you decide to rejoin.
you dont need to put in a CC number to play.

be sure to choose "Omni-Tek" as you alignment, then i wont have to kill you when i see you in game

Patching doesn't work for me. I've tried everything on their forum without sucsess.

heres the deal with patches, go here http://community.anarchy-online.com/...loads/patches/

download:

15.7.3 - 15.8.0
15.8.0 - 15.8.1
and install in that order, you will have to locate the anarcy online folder, which is by default (XP) C:\Program Files\Funcom\Anarchy Online\

you can either download 15.8.1 - 15.8.2 and install or use the built in patcher.



Also, it seem you only have one option for alignment, and that is...the middle one of the three gates (excluding the one on the far right). I dont get that. also the inventory doesnt want to come up. and the only one I seem to be able to choose drops me in the middle of nowhere (map says it's uncharted or something to that affect) so I'd appreciate any help there.

I've tried a manual patch, I've run their fix tool which found no errors. There seems to be a few people who can't patch it no matter what they do.

LOL, they won't let me sign-up for their forum unless I pay to register the game. How likely am I to pay for a game if I can't get it to work? Not helpful at all.
