What about prince of persia? |

i've got a "dos"sy game. i can't remember the name, i'll have to dig it out. it's a mixture of hockey, skateboarding, and killing. You play hockey in a half pipey thing kinda like a pill capsule cut length wise and you can kill the other team players with your stick/sword and you can do flips and stuff. |

Ahhh i don't have any consoles.....well i have an xbox and gamecube but i got over consoles when they bought the playstation out lol. I think that may be on pc though iv'e heard the name before but never checked it out. EDIT: Awww no pc version that bites it looked pretty cool too.

you can find some of the best hack and slash instant fix games on the consoles, not so much on the pc...sadly. the only hack and slash that comes to mind, but set in the fantasy realm, would be Lord of the Rings - Return of the King by EA. (racks my head for other titles)

Have you tried "Severance, Sword of darkness". A very violent game in fantasy setting. Great melee combat. It came in '98 or something like that, but doesn´t look to crappy. However it just offers hacking and slashing - nothing else. |

Hmmm well then i might just have to get round to programming my current game of choice some time. My game programming skills however need some brushing up and man does 3d go beyond my scope of knowledge for now lol. EDIT: Wow that offset engine sounds really nice i can't wait to see what they accomplish with it.

I remember an arcade game like that back in my younger days, it was like mortal kombat but with dwarves and all sorts of weird crap. If you chopped their head off it was an instant kill but if you cut an arm or two of you could pick it up and beat them to death with it, good game.

Yeah yeah, old resurrection (sue me.. actually don't O.o) Might I suggest Guild Wars for example or .. Diablo 2? ![]() Guild wars is mainly a team based game but can be your hack\slash alternative if you like fighting up close and personal. Both have free online play ![]()
