Massive battle Mechs wage fierce combat on the ground, while futuristic aircraft rule the skies. So, what do you all think of it? Will it be an excellent addition to the Battlefield series, or will it be a total flop? I, personally, cannot wait for it to be released. =D

When it was anounced a few days ago there was speculation that it wouldnt be released for quite some time, possibly 12 months. Whilst I anticipate it being another great game I hope they test this one more thouroughly prior to release so we dont all have to patch it every other week. I for one would rather wait another month or two after it was due to be released and get a fully finished product.

Just wondering, what would happen to the Americans? I mean, they're the world's largest superpower, right?

My guess is that they'd come on an expansion pack. >=D Drunken Europeans and Mech's do not go well together. >.>;

Numericalliy, it should be:

BF1942 + BF2 = 2B + 2F + 1944

or

BF1942 + BF2 = B² + F² + 1944

Wrong. If two letters representing constants are next to eachother with no mathematical symbol, then this means they multiply, not add.

So it would be BF1942 + BF2 = B² x F² + 1944

Which would then be written = B²F² + 1944

Unless we get BF to equal 44.

Then we have the following combinations

2,22
4,11

Where B and F can take any value in given combinations, respectively.

That's the closest we can get, I think. =(

I believe you mean 4 , 11 not 4 , 10 because 4 , 10 would make 40 where as 4 , 11 would totally make 44, which is right anyway

I think this is an EA only venture. Remember the last Battlefield Game (Vietnam) that was released by EA alone without DICE's involvement.

If they base it on the current BF2 engine, maybe there will be less crashes, as they have already patched that a fair bit?

There might be, but I can't remember any technique for it apart from trial and error, and that would take me a long time, you are welcome to try, though!

Perhaps, but we all know the game engine has been badly coded in the first place. It may be better to start from scratch so the bad code isn't there in the first place.
