I highly doubt they would stop the PGR series, its a great franchise. The only way they would change things is to perhaps release on PS3/PC as well, and that would be a good thing imho.

I doubt that would really hurt MS, while PGR adds value to available games for the 360, its not a system selling exclusive like Gran Turismo, GTA or Halo.

Cool sounds good to me I can see it hitting PC and PS3 although to be fair it wasnt that good a driving game when compaird to GTR or GT.

The list of Xbox only games seem to be getting smaller and smaller these days

Making and bringing games to market is a pretty expensive proposition. Made much easier if one can port the game to EVERYTHING. To get an exclusive, costly, to pay to have one made, very risky and costly... Unless the BIG one's really rake it in I can see where even MS might tire of paying for flops...at lest in games...

Actually, when it comes to porting, Sony usually gets the flops.

This is very true......and it seems like Sony is the one that is losing most of its exclusive titles these days.

MGS, Gran Torismo. What does the 360 have these days? I cant think of any big hits that havent been ported.

Console platform titles for the PS3 are almost always Xbox ports and come out, in most cases, far worse than the Xbox version.

PGR is great, but it just isn't GT. Real damage and physics, more cars, and more detail combined with the usual GT formula was the biggest reason I bought the PS3 in the first place. Every PS3 owner is going go buy it.

I agree that GT is a great franchise, but in that same vein, i like Forza 2 just as much, as it also has tons of real cars, realistic damage modeling, incredibly realistic driving physics, and best of all, online racing. As far as GT goes, Polyphony studios is notorious for delaying that game, and if the rumors are true, they are going to milk PS3 owners for every dollar they can get, making them pay to get more tracks, and more cars then the very few that actually come with the game......that is just plain greedy.

Sorry but realistic and Froza 2 do not go together at all I was appaled by that game GTR had far more realisum and physics and was far older. For example smash your car in on forza with all the settings turned on, you limp back to the pits only to find your invisibale pit crew not only fixes your car compleatly, refuels and puts on new tyres. They do it without jacking the car up and in a record time of no more than 10 seconds! Ok so your average 11 year old would get pretty annoyed at the 30 min pit times that GTR some times chucks out but some people want that and so should get it. The difference between GT and Forza is GT is a sim and Forza is a glorified arcade game trying to be a sim, another classic "next gen" game thats all show and no go

Well, at least to me, when i play a racing game i want the actual DRIVING physics to be real, which in Forza, they are. Personnaly i could care less about the pits being real or not, because if you spend 30 minutes in the pits you might as well quit the race anyway, but thats just me. Now i am not knocking GT at all, i have loved every GT game that has come out, but its certainly not the only good racing game out there.
