Personally, I think they are milking this chip a little but it still looks sweet.

It's basically a 9800 pro with DDR memory.

Only a slightly faster core. And it isn't much of an improvement over the Radeon 9800 Pro until you start useing resolutions of 1600x1200 and add in 4xAA and 8x Ani.

I personally don't think that it is worth the extra $150 to $130 over a 9800 Pro. Kind of reminds me of the GF3 Ti 500 and GF3 Ti 200. Price vs. Performance.

But DDR2 was also in the 256mb version of the 9800. The actual perfoance difference wasn't much, it was more for form factor than anything.
