More retarded Gateway help for my Sister in law
Here's the info:
Model: 500S LTD
Serial Number: 0025235287
Processor: 845 El Paso & P4-478 1.5Ghz

Trying to figure out what kind of ram this bugger takes

It should have 128mb of RDRAM installed.

I couldnt find out what motherboard it has or anything else particually interesting about it.

heh...hyundai chips...and crucial ram is also guaranteed to work in gateway pc's.

Someone over t' the olde same place done bought a Crucial made stick of DDR with Samsung chips on it. Fwiw.

There's nothing wrong with Samsung/SEC chips and Dimms, IMHO. This bit of news just precessed my gyros a little.
