I dunno if you can get them in the UK or not, but I have a Super Flower/TTGI TTS-520. It has four fans, and is REAL quiet, even when running full bore. The fans are thermally controlled, so it adjusts depending on ambient temp and the load.

Antec, True power 550 is very quite at it's lowest settings, quite at it's higher ones.

If you look at the MFG Part number on both of them, they are both SF-520TS. If you go here and look at their quad fan PSUs, you will find the SF-520TS listed, and they make not differentiation on the color. It is my guess that both units are identical except for the color. The gold colored one is the one I have.

I have an Antec and Zalman PSU.

That Super Flower looks like excellent value.

I got one of those too, like the way it controls the case fans. at least 50% quieter than before.

I also got a slk 947u, ( at last!) and have the the fan (thermaltake smart fan 11) running at 2445rpm which is below the volume of the rest of the machine. temps are 49/50deg at 166 x 12.5, psu speed 1527rpm case temp 34deg.

I'll cast a vote for the Enermax Noisetaker. I have
one, a 370W, in my Koolance PC602-BK. plenty of
power for the CD, CD-RW, HDD, FDD and 4-80mm
fans.

Koolance recommend either the Fortron Source
350W FSP350-60PN or Enermax EG460P-VE 460W.
makes me wounder if the Fortron 350W is enough.
I know the Enermax 370W is a much better psu
than the Powmax 500W.
