Cool how do i cofigure sata hd with existing ide hd

I have a gigabyte 8ik1100 ver. 2.0
I have existing ide hard drive and i finally got the system to recognize the sata seagate 200, now what i need to know is how in the heck do i get the system to use the sata as primary and still use existing ide as storage?

You need to set the system to boot from the sata drive or maybe scsi on some systems. No versions of windows recognise sata by default as well so you need the drivers for install
