Any good cheap off brand TV tuner cards?
I want to add a TV tuner to one of my computers. PCI, USB, I don't care. I just want a cheap one that works well, preferably with a remote. Please advise.

I've owned many TV tuner cards and they are all awful. The best one I have attaches directly to the monitor and has its own remote, the tuning is still incredibly slow.

I'm afraid the only TV tuner card I have is DVB-T (digital video), and hence probably not much use you to. On the other hand, it works very well, and delivers an MPEG2 stream to my system, which then decodes it.

How about this don't go cheap with a tuner. Get a good one with a live TV pause. It will cost about $200.

I paid $300 for my Sasem On Air USB HDTV tuner that doesnt even work due to awful windows drivers and no linux compatibility

external boxes that just pluyg into your monitor are supposed t be good, get a niceish one and should have picture i picture, that way doesnt matter if you pc is doing lots of work as your pcs out of the loop, or it can be off
