antec attrition

I have had a rash of Antec PSU deaths of late , I pulled 2 more this week already. I see a lot of brands and the death rate for the Antec's is starting to worry me. I literally recycled a dozen+ dead one's at my kids school last week. These are true-power, smart-power and trio models as well as the bundled ones. they are mostly past the 12mo. warranty, but usually only by a few months. It doesn't seem to be a problem with anything more than a couple years old, just the newer ones.
I used to spec Antec for the higher end stuff, my own rig included ,which is just fine on a Trio 550 as I type(fingers crossed), but have ceased to do so for fear of more dead hardware.

Has anyone else got a stack of dead Antec's in their shop, or am I just better at killing Antec stuff?

I have been hearing that others are having failures. I usually do not suggest for anyone to use an Antec PSU anymore.

They used to be a great unit. QC has gone away.

Wunnerful news, I have an Antec Sonata III on the way. I think someone else made the PSU, though. Fingers are crossed. Looks like Antec is up to bad antics.

Had an Antec 330 Truepower quit last month. It worked for 4 years.

My PurePower 420 has been running about 2 years now....

My 550 True Power (Adj. Voltage) went out at around a year and a half...but I may have helped it along, lost several things with it, can't say what took it all out.

ya, Im runnin one as well, I hate to throw a c-note in the trash, but I think Im gonna swap it out just to feel safe
