USB problems

Wolf2 have develope a problem with usb devices since I make the raid0 config. It would not recognize either my portable hdd (where most of my goodies are) nor the flash drive. It does recognize the mouse thou (cooperhead). Try to do a repair via console but It won't let me. Try to repair the whole installation but them it only reads 30508Mb (the raid consist of 2 WD 320Gb). I know I have a big mess but this is my second install of WXP. Using silicon image raid utility. Do I start again from the beginning or should I keep trying to fix it.

Is this a new install? Did you load the mobo drivers as well as the USB 2.0 driver? I've had USB's NOT work right in a new OS install without installing the drivers.

New install, install chipset drivers, the usb option saids that if it is WXP, W2000 or greater you don't need to install them. This message comes every time I press that option.

Does the disk show up under Disk Management? May just need to be initialized.

I haven't come up with anything else that will help. I ran into a similar problem with my sister's compaq yesterday. She bought a new printer and no matter what I did it would not recognize it. Jus kept showing unknown device. Took it back for a different brand and all is well..
