SSD's become faster, hooray. Now if they'd only become less expensive.

Not entirely useful as a direct replacement for hard drives.

SSDs "wear out" every time they're written to.

Good for storing stuff which does not get updated too heavily, like your operating system, and applications. Not so good for changeable data, unless you have money to burn.

Jeez, I didn't know that they were so "fragile." Hooey that's a lot of money for a limited life component.
