From what I remember of the AIW breakout cables, they're exactly that. If you can get hold of the pinout of the cables, you should be able to make your own easily enough. Therein lies the difficulty, I've not seen anyone post the pinouts! You could reverse engineer the pinouts, if you've got the technical skills and a multimeter! Basically, you want to start by locating all the ground connections. Once you have those, you can start to locate the outputs (which should have termination of 50 or 75 ohms on them). That would leave you with the inputs! Of course, you'd still have to figure out which input/output was what, but that shouldn't be so hard.

ill do that most likely aedan. sigh. that was unfortunately what i didnt want to have to resort to. lol. ive done similar work. i work at an electronics repair shop down the street from her. so i have all the equipment. i was just wondering if anyone knew where to get pre-made cables. thanks though.

I have a friend with an AIW card - I may well be able to buzz out the cable if you want me to, but it may take me a little while.
