Are PC components the ONLY things that deflate in price?

Sure seems like it. When SBLive! Value Soundcards where new, they were about $90. I had to buy a $60 SB PCI-512 card instead. Now the latest equivalent(I think) of the SBLive! Value, the SBLive! 5.01 cost $36, shipped.

Why am I a PC addict?

Nope. The Canadian dollar, er peso, deflates too. 62.0? cents at todays market close. I gotta buy something for $100 Canadian with a $20US mail in rebate, by the time the paperwork gets filed I'll get back the equivalent of $150 Can.

It's a bit like waiting for yesterdays bread in a bakery, it's not as fresh so he sells it cheap because he needs to get rid of it before it's so stale it's not edible. With pc components when a new range comes out it pushes down the price of the old range, eventually when they discontinue a range the price really plumits as they need to sell them while they are still of some use, which in the pc market isn't long.
you can't beat 6p bread though, walking round wigan eating big french bageuttes and sword fighting with them is best when it only costs 6p

Mmm. Baguettes. Baguettes (at least the ones I had) made in France are exceptionally light. You could say that there's much more air than bread in them. They're stale in four hours. Amazing.

Thank heaven that you can finally get good bread in the US. Bruddah, it's expensive. It's always something.

Edit. How OT can a thread be dragged? All the way to England and France!
