Geforce4 Pics Posted and then removed

Hexus had some pics of the Geforce4 this morning, but apparently I missed them, as the nVidia people didn't take kindly to Hexus's leak

Anywho, here are the pictures from another site that copied them on their server:

It's a beast. Other than the wickedly huge cooler, what really stuck out to me is the section of the PCB dedicated to powering the GPU and memory. No doubt about it, this will be one power hungry monster . . . . .

I saved em too. Looks like this WILL be a power hungry beast as well. One thing that I notices was NO cooling on the memory! That leads me to believe that with added cooling, these could be jacked up even further.

ramsinks are overrated

seriously, they're usually not needed at default speeds, only when overclocked, and sometimes not even then

will be interesting to see ATI's counter to the GF4. probably will again go the more elegantway rather than brute force both work well though

I would think that if they're TBA on the 5th, with samples already out. That very soon (like a week or two) after, we should start seeing them online. Albeit at a price that could likely net you 2 XBOX's, or an XBOX and a GAMECUBE and a game for each!!!

I just hope these will drive the prices of the GF3's down The early info I've seen puts their 200USD MSRP (my self-imposed limit) part as the top level MX piece. Yikes, Fewer rendering pipelines than my 60USD GF2 GTS. I don't think so.
