A bit upset!

I was at a friend of mines shope, setting up some gamming rigs for gamming cafe. These machines are Barton 2600's, 512 meg ram and 5700le's. Those dang systems will blow my machine out of the water on Doom3! We had them running 1280X1024 on high with 2xAA! I was like WTF. These are sub $100.00 video cards on newegg!! Can someone give me some insite as to how this can be?
Thanks

One factor may be that Doom3 is biased towards nVidia cards.

LMAO, Forget it. I just installed Doom3 this morning. 1280X1024 high settings and 8x AA. Smooth as glass. Dont have door lag anymore. Didnt even have to edit the config file. I'm happy

Oh, right. I heard something about the door lag on some ATI systems. Glad you got it fixed.

It happens when your video card is faster then the program it is running. My ATI has to wait for the game engin to catch up!
