Unhappy Humming

Anyone have any ideas as to why there is a low volume humming noise in the background when I connect headphones up to my Shuttle SK41?
I have fiddled inside the mobo to ake sure the connections are in place, and also it makes no difference which audio port I use, front or rear.
Thanks for your help.

there's no isolation really for the sound from intereference from other devices, so higher volumes tend to give this. If it is something that has gradually started to appear, it may be cause to contact shuttle if you still have a warranty.
