they are quite good cards, only £293 now as well so about inline with the 6800GT but with a faster core

I've ordered one for a mate, in preference to the 6800 GT. I think he will be happy with it.

I prefer ASUS or ATi cards, but only becasue of the warranty. If nVidia, BFG seems best. Seeing how they are all essentially the same, especially with the x800 series(minus gigabyte), i cannot decide on anything but warranty.

The thing is the power colour is a good £40 cheaper than most other X800XT's, it's only £290 at overclock.co.uk

Ive had quality issues with powercolour boards in the past, including a 9700Pro that had no gap in the AGP interface, (theres a divider in the slot and to make it fit i had to cut it with a dremel) I agree that ASUS cards are what i would aim for as their quality and service skills are second to none. None unless you consider BFGs lifetime warranty. ASUS has a quality feel to it. Ive never owned an ATI brand so i cant comment but i assume being made by the GPU maker they would do a good job too.

Yes, it was the price that swayed me toward the power colour one.
