new graphics card

is the radeon x700 pro 256mg pci e vid card good enough for graphics intense games???? would i be able to overclock it and how many pipelines does it have 4 or 8

Try and stretch for a 6600GT PCI-E. They beat the x700 hands down in almost every test. Should also be a similer price.

It is a decent enough card, 8 pipelines and a 128bit memory bus, it performs close to a 9800XT as long as you don't use FSAA
The 6600GT is a better performer though
If you can stretch to a PCI-E X800 though that would be better, it's only a little more and you get a 12pipeline card with a 256bit memory bus, I'm note sure if these are able to unlock to 16pipelines though.

You should be able to get a 6600GT for $185ish
