What brand is your GPU?

I was just looking at the files section, at how so far, a total of three (3) people have downloaded the new ATI Catalyst 5.6 drivers since Dave uploaded them this time yesterday.

Compare these 3 downloads to the current Nvidia XG driver, which has 504 downloads, and you can see the difference.

This leads me to a question. Why?

At first I thought that maybe nobody actually owned ATI cards, but I have heard so many people mention that they do. Are the ATI users not really interested in new driver downloads, or could it be something that we are doing wrong?

Im starting to think it could be the later, so I'm interested to know what you guys think. Are we not advertising the drivers enough? Is there not enough in the way of reviews and results for these drivers to convince you to update? Or is the ATI drivers section difficult to navigate at the moment?

Please help me out by commenting and voting in the poll!

I think people just generally download them from the official site, I know I do. Any modified drivers I do the same - go to the source to download them. Then you can check that they're the latest and greatest too.

Wheres the option for both I do tend to get my ati drivers just from ati them selfs, when I update my ati box I tend to scheduale when I do it, so I just get the driver when it's needed, where as with my 6800, a post shows up on here and I get it there and then

i use the catalyst exclusively, and mod my own drivers in the registry.

of course, i tell everyone when the ATI drivers come out. the reason for uplaoding is to able to find an older driver with ease...not so easy through the ATI website, but ofcourse it can be done.
