Unhappy Overclocking 6800 PCI Express

Hi guys. Im new to the forum but see you have a lot of good info so if you can help me out i would appreciate it.

I have a Leadtek 6800 TDH 256MB PCI-E that im trying to overclock. Im currently running it at 454MHz and the memory at the stock 600MHz. For the life of me I cant overclock the memory with out the computer doing a hard shutdown in 3dmark 05. (My PCI-E bus is overclocked to 112MHz) any thoughts?

Thanks.

Why is your PCI-E bus at 112Mhz? You can't lock it?

im running driver version 7.7.7.7?

My PCI bus is at 112 because if i leave it at 100 the video card is unstable. I have a 2.8 Ghz LGA775 running at 3.57Ghz (1020MHz FSB). If i want to overclock it past 3.46 i have to increase the PCI-E bus to make it stable. I could try rechecking it to see if its stable with a lower bus speed.

Try using the 78.05 TweaksRUs Xtreme-G driver. Its in the AOA files section under drivers -> video cards -> nvidia.

download drivercleaner pro from www.drivercleaner.net
uninstall your old drivers, and reboot into safe mode, and use drivercleaner to clean Nvidia drivers.

Then install the 78.05 XG drivers. See how that goes. Different drivers overclock differently, and these drivers should give a nice speed and quality improvement.
