unlockedpixiel chaders.

I ahve herd some thing about the 6800 GT having unused pixiel shaders. How do you unlock them(if it's true)?

i belive that its only with the 6800, and 6800LE's that have the unlockable piplelines and shaders for the AGP version only, the PCI-x are not unlockable.

6800GTs have no unused shaders. The 6800 AGPs and 6800LEs are the only 6800s that have pipelines you can unlock.

yeaaaa my stupid ass got an agp board instead of a pci express...so now i gotta spend SO MUCH MORE MONEY when i want to upgrade.....but yea the agp unlocks well, and i already want more and more power, but gotta spend like $600+ just to do so instead of bein smart and gettin a pci-e board and card to start with...i was just in such a rush to build a computer that i dindt think it through enough, and i regret it so much right now...bc ima break my wallet buyin stuff that i shoulndt have to in the future just to step up my graphics card...o well people make mistakes in order to learn from them!

Your comp looks great..buying an AGP board with a 6800 or 6800LE is probably more bang for your bang depending on how long you wait to upgrade. If you wait until, say, a new socket comes out, then you'll have nothing lost.
