So does this mean will be seeing any 80nm GPU's before the launch of Vista?

I'm still waiting for news from nvidia. They always deny things, which is a real pain.

There's more behind this than most think. First we heard ATI delaying product @ the 80nm node...but @ TSMC.

Now we hear they are going ahead...@ UMC.

Is it possible that we won't be seeing more "design flaws" and delayed production becuase of this move now???

Only time will tell, but i had said a long time ago it was a move ATI should make.


What i don't like seeing is nVidia palcing orders with UMC as well. Fabless companies have got to end.

TBH, I'd like to see a whole new foundry company start up.
