Voodoo 5500

Anyone know where to buy one? New and cheap is best. I know they are not made anymore but I still want one.

These are actually kinda becoming collectables because people like yourself want them "new and cheap".

I've not seen a new one for less than $100, and most of the time new they're close to $150.

Sometimes you get lucky on eBay and other auction sites.

For $150 I can get one hell of a more modern card that would spank that crusty old voodoo IMHO

I may be getting a used one along with some other stuff (mobo, proc, ram etc..) for about $50 or so.
I didn't bother looking at them during their time as Voodoo was going out of business. I had one in my hand today and that was one cool piece of old hardware.
A brand new one would be nice!

I am now the proud owner of a Voodoo 5500. Yes it is old technology but what fun it will be!
I think the thing when it first came out was maybe $250. I think it is great when new cards come out and you can get stuff like this for cheap!
There may or may not be drivers under Windows XP but there is still a community making software, bios and driver updates. Not sure of this though.
Some older but still good games like Voodoo cards so I will be able to check that out.
Thanks for the offer Spyder462. Your friend should keep it as it looks like it may indeed be a colectable. Imagine that!
