Voodoo 3 Adapter to VGA?

Anyone know where to get the adapter from the port on the Voodoo 3 to go to RCA? My sister lost hers, and the adapter that came with my Radeon won't work. Is it something proprietary that 3DFX did, or is it a common thing that can be picked up from Radio Shack?

I'd think Radio Shack would carry an S-Video to RCA adapter . . .

G'head. I'd like to hear it anyway.

I actually found a site with some pinouts, and they had s-video pinout. I guess s-video is just four pins, while the ATI had about 8 or so. I think the ATI would be compatible with normal s-video, but I don't have a TV near my computer to test that. And TV is only good for console video games and DVDs.

Nah, if I'd have actually read your entire post I wouldn't have thought of my idea in the first place. (I've got a spare but it's ATI)

Yeah, she lives about two hours from me, so I can't go check on her video card. But I gave her my adapter from my ATI. Doesn't work, she tells me. Too many pins on the adapter. But it seems s-video just uses 4 pins, so I have no idea why ATI uses 8 pins or so. I'll just hit up Rat Shack and see what they got for s-video to RCA adapters. If they got nothing, I've also got Circuit City and Best Buy that might have something. And there's always the World Wide Web.

Ok- the Ati is meant to split the one "All in one jack" into 2 channels- it is not adctualy a sv out port- it has connections for 1. Svideo and Rca on the end of a Y adaptor
RCA
card side__/
\
S video

Get it?

Not particularly, but that's fine. I don't plan on using this computer on a TV. It's my main rig, and rather beefy, so I don't move it around much. And there are no TVs near my computer. Which is fine. TV is only good for DVDs and console video games.
