Talking WOW a Ti4200 with 3.3ns memory

The SUMA Platinum GeForce4 Ti 4200SE 128MB
will be an amazing card for overclocking.

GamePC has tested Gainward Ultra 650/XP GeForce4
Ti4200 128MB (GPU A2 stepping und 4ns memory): http://www.gamepc.com/reviews/hardw...=1&mscssid=&tp=

Max overclock: 310 MHz GPU / 550 MHz memory

Quote:
Sitting underneath the cooler is an A2 stepping of the GeForce4 Ti GPU, compared to the A3 stepping of the GPU we saw on the nVidia reference Ti4200. We suspect that once the Gainward cards really hit the market, A3 GPU's will be included. The A3 GPU is the latest stepping of the NV25 GPU, and while it has the exact same performance at stock clock speeds, many have reported that A3 stepping GPU's can overclock 10-15 MHz higher compared to A2 and above.

Well the SUMA Platinum GeForce4 Ti 4200SE 128MB with an A3
stepping core and 3.3ns memory could beat easily a Ti4600

But where can you buy SUMA graphic cards

Suma I think is Korean (or Japanese), and not available in the states... for that exact reason: they put whatever they want on the card, making it essentially and underclocked Ti4400 and pissing people like me off who paid more money for less performance

S/U/M/A/ should be available from

North America

- MiniMicro : (www.mini-micro.com)
- Green Leaf : (www.greenleafinc.com)
(edit: No response from these servers...)

Europe

- Dragon MSK (http://www.suma.ru)
- LDLC.COM (http://www.ldlc.fr)
- Polygon Ltd.(http://www.suma.gr/)
- EVENTUS COMPUTERS d.o.o.(http://www.eventus.si)
- DataPoint (http://www.datapoint.dk)

No idea what any of these retailers are like, but S/U/M/A/ list them as their dealers.

Thanks

LDLC.COM (http://www.ldlc.fr) has the SUMA PLATINUM GeForce4 Ti 4200 64 MB (3.6ns) 229 EUR
and the
SUMA PLATINUM GeForce4 Ti 4200SE 64 MB (3.3ns) 249 EUR
in stock.
The SUMA Platinum GeForce4 Ti 4200SE 128MB (3.3ns) is not listed there yet.
Lets hope it won´t cost much more than the 64 MB (3.3ns) version :-D
