GeForce4 TI4400 tv out --> PAL/NTSC

A friend of mine has a MSI GeForce4-TI4400 VTD (MS8871). He also has a Nokia 28" TV.

The TV ONLY supports PAL signal, and he wants to use his TV-OUT option on his Geforce. However, we can only make the GeForce use NTSC for output. How do we force PAL format on the video card?

We have tried different drivers, both Nvidia and MSI. Neither allows for PAL.

My Geforce3 card can handle both NTSC and PAL, so I take it that this card should be able to as well?

I'm looking for an easy way out..

TIA

Quick Question: What's the encoder chip on the card? The drivers should tell you on the nVidia properties page.

Hmm, mine has a buttone on the device selectin tab to change format for TV output. Its currently set to M/NTSC. Im not sure what the options are though, and my TV is downstairs, so i cant really check it.
