nvidia 40.xx-30.xx ??

I was reading over on 3dguru that the 40.xx's are for the gf-4 cards and the 30.xx's are for the gf-2 & 3 cards, is that correct?

My computer (With Geforce 3) does best in 3Dmark with the 40.52's. Go figure!

The 40.52's were the fastest especially for the gf3 & gf4, but they had the same dark screen problem in certain applications as the last couple drivers.

I lost just a couple points by going with the 40.71's, but got rid of the picture darkness problem and I think the picture is a little better. I have also had no problems with the 71's since installing them last week.

Just make sure to compltely remove the old drivers before installing the new ones.

Thanks guyz !

Just finished 3DMark 2001 SE tests,and the 40.71 gave 40 pt's more on my lowend GF2 MX200- 2742, 2702 with the 30.'s.
