3dmark

Im running the following

Athlon XP 2400 @266
768 MB 2100 RAM
40 GB Ata 133 Maxtor Drive
ATI Radeon 9200 Se

My 3dmark is like 1117, is that a good score? What can I do to improve it without buying another card (which I will do eventually, just not now)?

That's got to be a 3DMark2003 score.

You shouldn't be useing that benchmark. It's a DX9 benchmark and your card is a DX8.1 card. It is going to score low. Try 3DMark2001se.

Want to improve your 3DMark2001se score? Then start pushing that system. Head on over to the files section and get Rage 3D tweak and use it to OC your video card. Start with the RAM then the core.

What mobo do you have? Maybe it has some OCing features. If your CPU is unlocked you could try upping the multiplier. PC2100 should be able to handle 140FSB.

And welcome to the forum.

I have a shuttle AK38N board. Ive looked in the bios and it lets me up the FSB incrementally, but it doesnt have any multiplier setting like my old MSI. I installed Rage 3dTweaks, and it says installation problem, and wont let my OC it. Another question, and thanks so much for the help guys, how do I oveclock the RAM, Ive never done that before. I dont think my board is very OC friendly, amn I miss my MSI, I had my Athlon 1600 running at 1.67 it was sooo nice.
