Is this a Radeon 8500? It's made by Guillemot? :confused:

ATI doesn't build every last ATI-chipsetted Vidcard anymore. From what I read, this isn't a bad development.

Do note that OEM versions of ATI cards are clocked SLOWER both, the RAM and the core....
And i do beilve that the Core runs with a little less volts on the OEM cards.....

So a quick volt hack and a reflash of the Card will get you back upto par in no time flat

I think they do this to keep them in a "SAFE" zione. This way they won't put out too much heat and should run pretty stable.
