What should I do with my CUBX-E?

Any masterful advice about an Asus CUBX-E? Just in case you haven't heard of this mainboard, it's a Socket 370 440BX. I hoped that this mobo was simply a P3B-F with the Slot 1 replaced by a S370. Wishful thinking. It's an interesting and somewhat odd mainboard that sports a built-in Promise ATA-100 Controller and four IDE Channels that runs fine if you don't expect frivolity from it:

Like filling all four DIMM slots, though I did read a report testifying to using four identical 256 Mb CAS2 PC-133 Crucial Dimms successfully.
Or running CII's on it that have a default Core Voltage of greater than 1.6v.
Or expecting to attain 133 Mhz FSB with any given P3E processor. While this is a lead pipe cinch with P3B-F's, even with some cA2 Stepping P3E's at default Core Voltage, only 124 Mhz FSB FSB can be guaranteed with any given CPU on the CUBX-E.

In its defense, some determined folks DO run the mobo at 150 Mhz FSB(where Sandra Mem BM's with CAS2 PC-133 are very close to identical with a SiS 735 ECS K7S5A running a Duron 850 at 100 Mhz FSB/100 Mhz Memory Bus with PC-2100 DDR @ CAS2, Ultra 2-6-3)--pretty good for a 440BX! And MUCH better than i815's.
#Btw, the SiS 735 chipset runs more slowly with FSB/Mem Bus set to 100/133!#

Some do run 1.7v CII's. Asus Germany continues to release Beta BIOS's. The Core Voltage is adjustable, just not to a value below the CPU's default voltage.

Selectable FSB's are 66, 83, 100, 103, 112, 124, 133, 140 and 150 Mhz. Not great compared to dial-a-FSB--but you can use SoftFSB if you've a copy of it.

Four IDE channels. The catch is that only two are ATA-100, the other two are ATA-33.

There is a software hack that converts the on-board Promise ATA-100 Controller to a RAID controller.

And the CUBX-E sports a i440BX chipset(better performer than the i810, i815ep and i820vc.) And it's Intel, and Asus. Swoon!

That's the start of a decent server I think.

I suppose that I could F@H with it. Trouble is, I only have a C366 for it. Which does run at 550 all day long-at default Vcc. As this Celly 550 is the same as a PII 550... Oh well, this puppy won't crunch WU's very fast!

I stripped everything out of my B box's case yesterday. Sniffle. I can't stand an empty case in the house so I installed a PC Power&Cooling 300W Turbo Cool, a CUBX-E with a C366 @550, a Millennium Glaciator(1) and 1 Crucial 256 Mb stick of CAS2 PC-133.

I don't have a floppy or HDD for the new B box yet, I just borrowed them temporarily from the cardboard boxes of the soon to be gone to LA components that I pulled out of the B box yesterday. It's always something!
